I highly doubt it...they have said that their plans are still to send them back.
Who knows though, a lot has happened in the last few months...Mesa announced 250 furloughs, the issues with Colgan, and now Commutair saying that they are going to get the Dash 8 300.
Apparently Airways loves the Dash 8 300 and would love to get more. They resigned those leases without thinking twice. It would be nice if we could get some more.

Serious question for you guys. Have any of you heard that Trans States is supposed to be flying more aircraft for Airways?
I seriously don't even know why we fly for Airways anyway. We have 3 jets for them, and all they do is:
STL-PIT-BDL-PIT-RDU-PIT-STL

Airways should be looking out for their own before they start paying low class carriers like Mesa and Colgan to fly for them.

Trans States shouldn't be flying anything for Airways. Airways needs to get rid of this contract garbage and give the flying to the wholly owned carriers, PSA and Piedmont.

I agree with you. That wasn't my question though. All I know is I'm employed here now still, we're a sinking ship, and I'm just trying to shed light on this rumor.
Didn't need opinions on how ****ty our management is, we already know. Our pilot group is more worried about industry wages and better work rules than trying to undercut other airlines
