I have heard LGA closing as well. Also they are changing the sim in CLT to a -300 so we can train stick pushers. So you LGA (excuse me ex-LGA) better brush up on your -300 limitations. Back to LGA, I heard airways is dropping about 45-50 daily flights from LGA. I don't think they are all coming from PDT but who knows. I don't even think SBY knows.

As for the furloughs, I think we will see a two reduction bids before the end of the year. First round we will probably be around 30, then maybe another 30 come December or January. Just a thought, no proof.

That's why ALPA is also suing USAPA instead of working with them to get it for us. They're making it as hard as possible for it to win.

I wonder how long until they get the new sim up and running. Also, I saw they have 10 captain and 30 FO's going to CQ next month...what happens to the other 20 FO's? They can't pair them up can they?

Oh wouldn't that suck to get Wills in the left seat with Keen operating the sim.

I didnt hear anything about LGA completely closing, but about routes being reduced there, along with the move to the marine air terminal. Also heard the main problem there is that Shuttle isnt profitable, and that is where the majority of the reductions will be. Don't know how much truth there is to that tho.. Either way.. all of our flights out of LGA have been pretty full lately, but then again it is summe

Yea I heard the same rumors about LGA closing as a base. If we do move over to the MAT I have no idea where they'll put everybody...they only have 6 gates there right now. Going from over 20 gates to less than 10 means a lot of flight would have to be cut.

I also heard rumors of EWN being on the chopping block with the reduction bid. Not sure how true it is but I heard that from FAs coming back from CQ in SBY.

No matter what base or bases get closed, the situation simply sucks all around for everyone.
