We are expecting 2 hub bases to be announced by the end of June, most likely DCA and PHL.

Are those for the E145s or also for Dash operations as well?

So glad things are getting better there for you guys. I left in 2011 when it started to look dire. I never would've lasted till now.

It's been an amazing turn around so far. Seems to be headed quickly in the right direction.

Does PDT give pilots hotels every night they were scheduled to have one regardless where they end up? Will you get a hotel in base for misconects, RA's, cancelations or anything else that dumps you in base unscheduled?

I know you just got 4 hotels a month. Just wondering if you got the in base language too?

We have outstation basing right now so those scenarios you listed don't happen too often, but to answer your question no I don't think you get hotels for any of the scenarios you listed except cancellation due to a major weather event like a hurricane or blizzard which we already had contract provisions for. This is basically just for hotels the night before a trip.

I would be shocked if PDT gets many applicants based on their current bases. HOrrible commute for most.

We actually get more than you'd think. Lots of people live in the MDT and ROA area apply and get hired here. But you're right, most are coming for the flow and growth. Thankfully with 2 hubs about to open, that will be another reason to apply.
