Nothing concrete, but I've heard that the hold up is with AAG in Dallas. PDT management is supposedly just as eager for an announcement because they feel it will help with recruitment, but AA hasn't finalized the new regional route shuffle and is ultimately in the driver's seat on this one.

5 years is pretty accurate as of right now. There are approximately 285 pilots left on the current list. If 20 percent of that list decline flow or are ineligible at 36 per year you are around 4.8 years for the most junior eligible pilot.
