That's what you want to believe. But not necessarily what will happen. Remember the 145's will also be retired soon. First of the 145's start coming off lease in 2018. Expect most parked by 2021.

If the 145's will be retired then what will PDT fly?

First off there is like 240 ish of those in the AA system. Something will replace them. 121 operating certs are way too important to let fizzle away. Pdt will be flying something. Hey best case scenario none of the regionals have any planes or pilots by then and we're actually making money at mainline.

145's will die out before the Dash 8. Dash is a tank. However once the 145's retire and Dash's everyone at Piedmont will be flying an Airbus or a Boeing.
