As far as PDT getting jets, just a recruiting tactic to get pilots to join a small meaningless regional airline. Also, the PDT domiciles are out stations requiring a two or three leg commute.
Sounds like somebody failed out of training... I never understood why people ***** about the training department so much, if you can't pass it's probably your fault, it's difficult training but it's all things you need to know and be able to fly the old dash. I think some people just don't take it serious enough.

Well Mr. Obvious of course you would think people only write of poor training if they fail. I didn't fail I left after a week of sim training for a much better regional airline. People do evaluate and make decisions with know information and plan accordingly; otherwise known as "deductive reasoning." Why fly a prop at low altitude when one can fly a jet way above where PDT planes fly? Mr. Obvious I will be smiling and waving as I pass over you in your "old dash." Also remember, don't assume it makes an ass out of you but not me.

Yep you failed, it's ok man lots of guys can't hack it flying a real airplane, I know instructing in your 152 was a lot for you to handle and you ditched pdt for Republic after one sim ride brought you to your knees, enjoy following the magenta line and posting fb pictures of your big shiny jet.

Oh my Mr. Obvious that struck a nerve with you. Once again you assume so it matters not what you think on your Fantasy Island. Perhaps you are an instructor at PDT and your feelings are hurt, or someone who couldn't get hired to fly jets? Either way, I could care less. It's hard for you old guys to stay a ahead of a jet, but that's OK that's why they make prop airplanes. Oh by the way Mr. Ultimate Pilotage/Dead Reckoning Pilot, all PDT airplanes have FMS and autopilot, but with you talents I'm sure you hand fly all the time. Next you will trying to tell everyone you can out fly Sean D.Tucker.

Now, now... 'El Ocho' is harder to fly than those button pushing jets.
