The snapbacks are the protections for the pilots. Most concessions require 4 jet A/C over 60 seats to be placed in service before the concessions take effect. The snapbacks is in the event that the fleet drops below 20 then the pilots will go back to the 2013 contract provisions but will maintain the flow. This TA doesn't guarantee airplanes will arrive, it gives the option to AAG. Not bashing the PdT pilots as this is their time to decide upon themselves, but there is many people don't read the language and only to by what a keyboard warrior posted.

A lot of evidence is pointing towards PDT operating a number of Envoy's 140/145s once the LOA is voted in and later down the road 175s as well. With the 12 year pay scale for jets, PDT will be much cheaper than Envoy and the flow will keep new hires coming in the door during rapid growth. Very interesting times ahead for Piedmont.

IIRC, SKW has spent along the lines of 30-40 million to bring the E175 on property. Will the leverage/I told you so of transferring the ERJ to PDT outweigh the cost of introducing the fleet and the cost related? There is one thing transferring CR7 to PSA who already operates the type.
We can speculate all we want, but the TA gives AAG flexibility/options and that is what they need the most as they look to break the NO trend and deal with the Envoy pilot group.
If you are referring to the ERJ rates, well Envoy was being asked to eliminate T-Prop rates so their plan to merge operations might have been set all along. All we can do is fly our aircraft safely, expand our resumes, network and leave the places better than we found them. As much as we think we control the allocation of A/C we are sadly mistaken. We are an important is a of the puzzle, but we are the easiest part to manipulate and reduce cost. Every penny they save from labor and other costs is a dime they don't have to generate in revenue. A negotiated dollar is a bottom line dollar.
