They say the 175 can make a bad pilot good and a good pilot go bad. I'm still trying to figure out how to work the auto-throttles on the dash!

Let me know once you figure it out! We had CTOT on the Saab. Kind of like an AT for takeoff! We felt damn special...

Things did slow in training just before we started to catch up.. We kicked all part time instructors back to the line to cover flying. And next month some bases have zero ca or fo rsv. Ops check normal, like most situations in the airlines, the fix is made after the problem. Always pinned behind the 8 ball.

For all those worried about the immediate upgrade. My friend also from Expressjet. Took the upgrade right after IOE so he has 40 hours of dash time. He said upgrade has been pretty relaxed. For what it's worth...

I'm personally waiting for a SOE capt right now. I've been enjoying the time off. I know time with the family will be few and far between when I hit the line. I am ready to make more than guaranteed min though. Savings is getting thin!!

I'll have to try and track him down. So far I'll be based in MDT as well. Not sure how the commute is going to be on Delta.

My point is more that the company should be on top of this stuff. Yeah, time off is nice for some, but I don't think that should be used as a justification for the training departments inability to, well, train pilots.

Here's hoping these changes everyone talks about are real
