Think long term, not short term. Yeah, it's sweet to play Xbox all day right now, but what about in 10 years? Wouldn't it be nice to have a paid off house, cars, boat, and half a mil in the bank as FU money? That's when you can chill and work for min guarantee.
This guy gets it. As much fun as it is to sit around and make 26k in your first year (31 with the bonus), more money is more money at this point.

41k with bonus for a few of us. Way better than the 21k I made first year at my first 121

Exactly and were all in different situations... to me.. they treat us not the best... so I am not going to help them..

Raise the pay and give us a a leading contract and than I will help them all they want.. until than... I am not doing it..

And how about free coffee in the crew rooms while were at it

When will PDT training department get their sh*t together?? you'd think having to offer triple premium pay to cover trips would be incentive enough to kick things into gear. right now its SIX MONTHS from date of hire until you make the company a single dollar

I'll let you all know how the wait is after I start. They admitted sims were backed up about a month, but said it was quickly improving. No, you don't need to say what I know you are about (want) to say... HA

Well that sucks. I am waiting for my contract to be up to apply, or at least closer anyways. At this rate if all went well I wouldn't hit the line until next year.
