well actually they are not increasing pay. what I can tell and it is still to be made public, first, all w/o's have 4/12 year pay caps if I am not wrong. Max pay rate for f/o is 4th year pay and max for captain is 12 year pay.
what aag is doing is taking all f/o's on property to fourth year pay, new hires I believe also, other than some bonus money such as, new hire 15k plus 5k for crj type or 20k for current on property f/o's, that's really it.
But no pay rate increase in the cba. everyone starts at 4 yr pay and stays there until upgrading or leaving for elsewhere.
Capt, 7.5k bonus over 3 payments
As far as I have seen, NO QOL changes for the better.

and fourth is 40.28 I believe. difference is 1.78 between new hire and all other f/o's. so yes you are correct.

Under the new agreement, PSA pilots will receive the following:
• Increased First Officer Pay: Starting pay for new-hire First Officers and First Officers who have not yet completed their first year of service will significantly increase from $24.62 per hour to our third-year blended pay rate of $38.50 per hour. Upon reaching their first anniversary, their pay will progress to our anticipated fourth-year blended rate-of-pay of $40.28 per hour. All First Officers currently in their second or third year with PSA will immediately move to our current fourth-year rate-of-pay.
• Increased Sign-on Bonus for CRJ Experience: We will continue to offer all new-hire pilots a $15,000 sign-on bonus, with an additional $5,000 for new-hire pilots with a CRJ-type rating.
• First Officer Retention Bonus: First Officers hired after May 1, 2016 and First Officers hired under this new Agreement will be eligible to receive a $20,000 retention bonus once they mark their one-year anniversary with the company. The bonus includes a payout of $2,500 per quarter beginning on the first quarter following your anniversary date and continuing over two years or until a First Officer is upgraded to Captain.
• Captain Retention Bonus: All Captains on property at the time of signing the Letter of Agreement will receive a $7,500 retention bonus to be paid out in three $2,500 installments. The payments will be made on Jan. 1, 2017, June 1, 2017, and Dec. 1, 2017. If a Captain flows to American before receiving all of the retention bonus, the unpaid portion will be paid when he or she joins American.
Your MEC believes this is a positive step forward for our pilot group, and our ability to attract new pilots to PSA. We will keep the pilot group apprised of the official signing and implementation

All 3 will have very similar increases. This is all part of the failed kenji economic plan for the WO'd.

Why would we not take this money? sure its not in the CBA but thats also the benefit. we get to negotiate again. This is a band aid...but lets take the money and laugh when it still doesnt work.

We better take it. It looks like Envoy is already advertising it and I'm quite sure PSA will take it too. We will be at a huge disadvantage...speaking of which, where is my ****ing IPad???
