You are 100 percent correct. If you are on property as of the expiration of the agreement then you will flow.

For guys getting hired right now, there's actually no guarantee they will flow before the 10 year contract with AA is up.

You want a big fancy hat now, Pontiff? There is more to the calculation than just straight people on the list. People do get hired by other airlines you know? They go to AA outside of the flow you know? They leave sometimes ya know?

hahahaha! Bottom line is the majors are all hiring. Sure the Flow is nice but it's not the most important thing Piedmont is offering at this moment. Piedmont is a Great place RIGHT NOW to get PIC time and move on. You'll move fast up the list with it growing and getting more and more RJ's.
So you got your PIC time and didn't get Hired at Delta? Didn't get hired at United? Didn't get hired at SouthWest? Guess you'll have to pull American Airlines card out of your back pocket because guess what? You'll be an American Airlines Pilot. Kinda of a great option to have if you ask me.
Sure there's maybe a few better Regionals but right now the Majors are hiring. Faster the better.

Pffft, they'd have to leave the ****ing contest thread over crew rooms first.

Pilots leaving to other airlines will shrink the seniority list too, so the trigger for the flow increase is harder to meet. I'm sure y'all have noticed by now, newhires are hard to find.

I'm not saying there's nothing good about PDT. I'm pointing out the error in your flow calculations. Basing your flow projections off doubling or tripling in size or attrition that may actually hurt the flow is disingenuous.

Well considering we haven't hired directly into the jet just yet, I would say our potential is much higher at this point than at any point since about 2007. The game is about to change Pontiff.
