MRY on the EMB120 was all United. It is to bad for those who lived there. Hopefully there will be some overnights there that they can bid. Personally I'd love to have some MRY layovers.

Don't expect to move up much in ORD - It's all gonna be Sr people out of DEN/SLC/PSP/FAT moving over to LAX. ORD might see about 10-20 guys shift around and some MKE guys fill those voids.

Yeah could go this way...or: People Sr move from SLC/DEN to live at home in CA. Next people in ORD and MKE move to SLC/DEN because they live there or can hold it and have a short commute from the west. MKE is not shutting down it is being reduced by 48% Say half the Sr. people want DEN or SLC and the other live around CHI/MKE and chose to stay. There are many Jr. guys in MKE. I think I saw about half of the FO list that is Jan 08 or newer. If those guys come to ORD then bingo instant improvement for guys that have been here before Jan 08...thats improvement on a RSV line.

MRY is only an EMB-120 UAX domicile and has 5 CA’s and 7 FO’s (very small), whereas LAX will be 29 crews plus reserves which will be CR7 crews. The MRY crews will be moved elsewhere within the EMB system and the MRY will be adjusted as we adjust our EMB flying to make it more efficient as well as add destinations.

MKE? We’ve seen the writing on the wall for some time now and this helps when it comes to absorbing them back within the UAX/DALC systems. Midwest has rolled our flying back by 48% and I see more coming as the almost inevitable happens.

Thanks. So in the end, does this add or decrease flying for SkyWest? Or is it a wash? Any predictions on when or if they will start training everyone swimming in their pool?

More of a wash, but I count it as a bonus seeing that we aren't decreasing in total flying. The question around here was what will happen when our Midwest flying starts to decrease and now we know.

No matter how you look at it……………it’s good. As for training, don't hold your breath. We still need attrition to shave quite few more RJ pilots off the list and once that's complete and SKW decides they need more RJ pilots, look for them to transition EMB FO's over and hire into the Bro.

Close but not quite. Only about 25% of the list is Jan. 08 or later. 48% is probably more like August-September 07.

As for the thread....Glad to finally see LAX start to grow from a RSV only base for the CRJ. Let's hope it continues to grow!

Look for a lot of MKE people to be transfering to ORD. The incentive pay is only for ORD and LAX
