XJT Paycut

Before you go making those kinds of statements you should read the opinions around here or see the official statements of both unions. Though to be fair when you fly for any codeshare you have their pax in the back.

And for the THIRD time, show me where I said what you thought I said.
Or can you?

For the second time I could care less. Sorry that bothers you so much.... Not really. I'm not going to waste time searching. I know you would if the shoe were on the other foot but I'm not as interested in making someone eat their words.

vote no raise the bar = xjt going out of business and another lower paying & lower qol regional gladly picking up the flying
fellow pilots at other companies have not left us a choice or a leg to stand on. We have to be more competitive with cheaper airlines. We all knew we couldnt keep industry leading pay and work rules while other airlines were gladly accepting 1 or 2% raises yr over yr (not even keeping up with inflation) and getting overides to fly larger equipment??? As long as places LIKE colgan exist and their pilots have no problem with flying larger and larger equipment for less and less and have no clue what work rules at a 121 carrier should be... this is going to be a recurring theme for regional airlines. Survival of the crappiest pay and work rules.
There is an unstoppable flow of new, niave, and ignorant pilots who will fly whatever you want for whatever you want to pay as long as your willing to give them a shot. We all have to start somewhere but theres a right way and a wrong way to do it.

I'll put it simply for you. If the company is telling us the truth that we will lose $35 million and they will go Bankrupt. Going bankrupt would more than likely lead to another regional replacing our flying. So I hope you can understand most of us at ExpressJet DO NOT want to have pilots from those regionals telling us to VOTE NO or not. Leave the decision up to us.
Now if we take these cuts and our profit sharing goes up drastically, any profit over $30 million results in 50% give back to the employees and anything over $90 million results in a complete snapback. Plus our management have already taken a 10% paycut and they can not give themselves ANY RAISES until we get our pay back. If they give themselves a raise, we get FULL SNAPBACK

Thats my point Toilet, like the Gov't bailing out the banks, like Republic pilots flying the 170's for Midwest (Labor laws) and like us potentially taking cuts, its ugly, its not fair, it should be illegal but it seems to be necessary, unfortunately the Republic guys can't just go on strike, much like I dont think we here at XJT hhave much of a choice..........

I think it has more to do with the FACT that you can't back up something you said.

SAAB I agree with you 100%. Whatever the circumstances if it's voted yes than XJT just joined the rest of the regionals on the moral playing field. It's all fair game let whoever can get the lowest cost wins.
