At XJT now we don't get a DPM of 3.75 for picking up on a day off we get "credited for the trip or 3.75 hours per day, whichever is greater" and I think that's what you were using for your math.
For my example I'm showing what it would look like if we had a 3:45 DPM, instead of the current 2:00 DPM. If we made the first day of that trip have 1:30 of flying you would still get 9:30 of pay at XJT because you would get 2:00 for day 1.

You said it, shut it down. If enough suits end up on the streets with the pilots they will realize they can't pull this crap and get away with it any more. There are a lot of X-jet guys out there talking a lot of poop, time to see if they are willing to stand in it and protect that industry leading contract.
For the rest of you not talking poop I am sorry it has come to this for you. There are MANY great people at X-jet. Good luck.

No matter where you are, what regional you are at, if management will use concessions or bust, everytime, and pilots bend every time, management will always win, and T&Cs will just keep declining, until it isnt even legal anymore since we have to get paid something as CPLs.
Everytime its either take concessions or the company won't make it, and everytime people always comment on how you would whistle a different tune if it was you under the ax. Well guess what? NOTHING will EVER change until pilots EVERYWHERE say NO.
Look at Alitalia! Their airline was 1 day away from seizing operations because their crews would not take a cut, and guess what? They are still flying, and have even got some company to invest in them, basically bailing them out of the cutter. Moral of the story? Management wanted concessions, and to reduce their T&Cs, other wise the company will go bust, and they gave them a big fat NO. Everyone was blaming the pilots and flight attendants for putting the company under, and they were already making less then other Euro flag carriers. Guess what happened? Nothing, the airline is still functioning, and the flight/cabin crews are victorious and still doing the job for what they have been before. If they said yes, the only difference would be is that they would have been getting paid less.
I wish we had a group like the Alitalia group here in the U.S.
It takes balls to get things like this done, no matter what industry, and what company. Nothing XJT specific about this, just in general.
Good luck to all the guys out there regardless of how you vote.

Latest example of management apparently screwing their pilots.

make sure you check and double check your sources. when it was all said and done the pilots caved to keep the doors open. details of what the conceded to are sketchy but it seems like they probably didnt give away the house. but concessions were made to keep that place operating.

I have said things that were stupid and out of line, that I was wrong about, but I never see you wrong with anything. I'm glad I can rely on you to tell the rest of us how we are always out of line.
I'm also stupid for thinking that taking this 2.8% paycut is OK since it will still leave me in the top 3 for FO pay for a 50 seater. What was I thinking!

My issue is the constant finger pointing by certain XJet pilots towards EVERY pilot group. It is sad because loud mouth can ruin the reputaion of many. There is a majority of you that continue to stand on your soapbox and yell.
You have calmed down, but that did not happen untill some of your XJet peers gave your name and info to others on this forum because they too were tired of hearing your rants, now I admit you have become more objective.
Again I will state what I have said 20 times. I have always had good experiences with XJet guys outside of this forum. The problem is there is a few on here; newarkblows and N2Rotation for starts, who shoot their mouth and give your entire pilot group a bad name.
You do your airline a great diservice by constantly blaming other people and airlines for your current problems.

I agree with Juice though. The constant finger pointing like it's everyone elses fault has gotten old.
I do have a question though. if another regional was taking a pay cut right now what would you be shouting?

My response was nothing again what you said. This has nothing to do with the paycut vote, it is XJet's pilots decision. I am not going to come and say you should do this or that because it is not my job on the line so I stay out of that.

ITs not just the people at xjt that feel this way btw... keep trying to label a group as looking down their nose at you. Its not just xjt but more a good portion of the industry that has had flying underbid or work rules and pay put under a microscope because these colgan wonders are willing to work more for much less and are too short sighted to know any better. you and your airline are a disgrace!!!
