Sorry, their paychecks are probably significantly more than a regional FO's.
Depends what state/region you're in. Down south an FO probably makes a good bit more than the flagman, in the northeast and west coast they get about $35 an hour.... about 2nd year regional FO pay, but no education or real training required.... no medical, no recurrent training, no FAA or line checks. Not a bad gig.

When the FO says, "hey ya'll watch this" and the captain doesn't know enough to intervene. . . it might be a regional jet.

If you can preflight the elevator with a running start. . . it might be a regional jet.

If the first time you see the thing you think, "wow, that's tiny". . . it might be a regional jet.

If when traveling revenue and forced to "gate" or "valet" check your bag only to not get it at the other end due to the crew tags. . . it might be a regional jet.

If your approved carry-on crew bag only fits in the closet. . . it might be a regional jet.

If your approved carry-on crew bag has a rainbow of gate check tags. . . it might be a regional jet.

If you have to name several airlines when asked who does your company fly for. . . it might be a regional jet. Frontier, Continental, United, JetBlue. . .
If you're the third company flight to land in succession and each goes to a different airline's terminal . . . it might be a regional jet.

If you've been furloughed after a year on the job and still don't qualify for the ATP. . . it was a regional jet.

If you've been furloughed and the CFI job you go back to pays more. . . it was a regional jet.

If you've been furloughed and you don't qualify for a CFI job, you went from zero to hero to zero all because. . . it was a regional jet.

if you get stuck in the lav because the passengers started boarding while you were peeing...you might be in a regional jet...

if it slows down in the descent...you might be in a regional jet....

if none of the mainline guys say "hi" back to you in the terminal...or even your own captain...you might be in a regional jet...

if three FO's are in the crew room raving about their first approach ever to mins that morning...that was a result of a regional jet...

if you've smashed your head, shoulder, hip, knee and feet into at least 45 different objects/protrusions...you might be in a regional jet...

if in flight the sun shade snaps down and you throw on the oxygen mask before you realized what happened...you might be in a regional jet...

if the FO comes back to the cockpit and claims something is wrong because the aileron is jammed and won't move...it might be a regional jet...

If your rampers ignore you, wear turbines, can't speak english, and are quite possibly on the terrorist watch list... it might be a regional jet in Dulles.

If the pilot has more posts on APC than flight hours in his logbook... it might be a regional jet.

If the plane is low enough to the ground that the TSA thinks it can break into it by climbing on the probes...it's definitely an RJ.

If you think it's spelled "duck" tape, you might be flying a regional jet.
