It was an official(ish) announcement at the G.O. today confirmed to me by sources that I don't disclose on the INTERNET, but i have a lot of old college buddies at XJ. Sorry for my grammar & spelling but I am a little irritated by my decision to go to Comair instead of Mesaba almost 2 years ago....ARGH....typing faster than I can think or something like that...

hahaha its cool, wasn't fully unexpected
for more information on this check out the thread mesaba vs. comair or whatever it is called there is a little more detail on the dispersal of aircraft
I would recommend this thread closed with a link to that thread however it is done...

Man I know it tough over there right now... but if you can stick it out if you can.
Remember both comair and mesaba are wholly owned... who knows what will happen. Comair's pay is much better... and who knows what will happen with upgrades at mesaba... you may be better off staying at comair... its to early to tell. Comair was hiring all the way up to the furlough, same could be true at mesaba.

Delta is awarding Mesaba with 15 CRJ-900's, to be operated out of ATL with the Saabs that are being repositioned as well. The 15 CRJ-900's are the jets operated by Freedom now...so much for Comair's business plan...thanks Salvaggio!
Who else is going to the next "pilots meeting" at comair?

Dude...you need to get your facts right Parhead....First of all Freedom doesn't have 15 RJs.....Stop spreading untrue rumors..

This came out of a Recurrent Ground session where the DO came to talk, but he(the DO) also said that it wasn't in writing yet.
Source: A friend who was in that Recurrent Ground class.
I'm glad they are just getting them away from Mesa

There ya go! BlueMoon (good beer) takes the blame away from me because he cited his sources!
Freedom (from what i have heard at comair) was supposed to end up with a total of 14-15 CRJ's. Originally we (comair) were told we would be awarded them....then POOF....they disappeared and we began to furlough! tada!

Again I'll believe it when I see them in person. I was told we (XJ) were getting 20 CRJ-200's. We got 2, promptly had one taken away, then I was furloughed. Still waiting to see the remaining 3 we were supposedly told to expect in 2005...... I'm not holding my breath.
