I was hitching a ride back to the concourse from A-tech the other day from a Mx personnel. I had heard that Mx was getting checked out on the 900 so i asked him if it was true. He said that it was true and that we were getting 900s in march. He didn't know from whom or how many. I'm sure MX is subject to the same rumors pilots hear in the company. But if Mx is getting checked out on the 900s, it's in preparation for something.

That's because everyone at the GO was expecting ASA to be awarded at least some of these 900's from Freedumb. They were prepping for it, and then Big D ripped the rug out from under us. There will be no 900's in March. Pinnacle and Mesaba will be the 900 operators for the 'New Delta'.

the mx boys and girls are getting 900 trained because its cheap and easy for them it consists of some reading or something like that and apparently it is because they want to be prepared for the possibility of receiving 900's. Thats what their memo said, nothing official just "the possibility".

DJrogs - the snap back is "only a dollar" as you say because we only took 5% paycuts. The snapback is also not coming all at once. And further, you can't compare our 2004/Ch11 wages with a brand new contract. So while the snapback may not mean a whole lot to you, it means a heck of a lot to all the people at XJ who were here during bankruptcy and made sacrifices to keep the company alive, sham or no sham. THose sacrifices paved the way for your job, so I hope you're not being ungrateful in your multiple posts on our snapbacks and pay. It just struck a nerve.
