I'm only reffering to the facts this website provides...I'm willing to bet ComAir has 2 year FO's...think before you type

well we kinda do.....while not official airline sponsored ab initio, look at all the 250-300 hour guys the regionals have hired who completed the programs at JetU, ATP, Riddle etc....that is zero experience to full fledged FO!

Maybe you could heed your own advice. As of January 2009, when the next round of furloughs takes place, the most junior FO at Comair will be a 3 year FO.

I truly am glad that Mesaba is experiencing some positive news and wish no ill will towards any of their pilot group. There just seems to be a few that don't understand how to conduct themselves graciously.

"There but for the grace of God, go I" - something all pilots should consider.

There is always that few that make the rest of us look bad. He by no means represents the common attitude of our pilot group. We are happy to receive more aircraft but do understand what that means for the other regionals because we were there at one point as well.

The only question is...

Is Comair the next Mesaba?

Or will Mesaba be the next Comair?

Tough to say......if Delta hires though, Mesaba will stay junior.

Not too sure about any futures at this point and I really don't feel like thinking about it because I have no control over it. I'll just sit back, take the upgrade and do what I can to get out of a regional (which is little at this point)
