LoL that was good winglet...especially regarding hand-flying! I can't tell you how many guys I fly with say something to the effect of "I can't believe you're flying the RJ, it's not meant to be hand-flown," and "You can't fly this anymore -- it's not a 172." They're the same ones that scare me in the x-winds, man-handle the controls, fly an out-of-trim aircraft, and wonder why a lowly FO can fly circles around them...and these are guys twice my age

Oh brother... another wonder RJ FO who thinks he's chuck yeager because he's hand flying outside the recommended procedures. Look at me mom I'm handflying a barbie jet! YeAAAeeee! If you want to hand fly go find some /A IFR job. You're just making the poor CAs job that's done that flight about 1000 times more difficult.

I agree with your post, I have been on the ramp for ua for 16yrs..I also fly the rj. I make more on the ramp than i do flying. But I need both jobs now so I can keep my house. To say that the ramp agents can kiss your @#! is wrong. If your talking about ramp agents for ua, the company has cut so many, thats why your waiting all the time, not because of anything else. the other day I worked a 777 with 3 people!! thats it, and when I was flying last week I waited 15 min for a parker in iad, and they are not ua they are contract people! if I'm wrong plz do tell me thanks

Rather fly a "Barbie Jet" than a relic (DC9/MD80/82,83,88)
