If your talking about ramp agents for ua, the company has cut so many, thats why your waiting all the time, not because of anything else. the other day I worked a 777 with 3 people!! thats it, and when I was flying last week I waited 15 min for a parker in iad, and they are not ua they are contract people! if I'm wrong plz do tell me thanks
Hey brother, sorry if I offended you. I guess you missed the point I was trying to make. Yeah, the ramp agents aggravate me sometimes when they do what they do in IAD, but I know that sometimes they are short staffed. However, there have been numerous times though when I have sat on the C line waiting to be parked while I watched 3 ramp guys sitting in a tug chatting it up with each other with their backs to us. Anyway, not trying to bash the ramp people, just saying that sometimes what I see is just a little annoying. The point I was trying to make is that I'm not afraid to go put my foot up someone's butt to get the job done if that's what it takes. I'm not the type to coward away in the flight deck and complain that things aren't getting done when I'm not doing anything myself.

Cheers to that!! My best friend graduated in December and is still looking for jobs. Luckily his Dad is able to employ him until he finds one, but he majored in Forestry and his Dad is in construction.... not exactly in his line of study. Glad you have something to fall back on. I'm very much considering going back to school after I pay off some debt to get my BS in Meteorology.
