How can market forces not be completely obvious, regional wages at $19 an hour. Are there too many pilots or not enough, based on that pay rate supply is pretty good because they are having no trouble filling the jobs. No, we are not all screwed, I was just trying to loosen this conversation up a bit. Until there is a unified front( which is not likely) or profit, wages will not go up. If you look at the track record of the last 15 years and that Major salaries have been decimated it does not inspire much confidence in the future. If you use smaller more friendly words more people will understand

I know it's a simple concept. It's an extremely simple concept. I can see now that you do understand it. But, for whatever reason, multiple people I've run into within this profession have absolutely no clue why they are flying for $16 per hour. All they can say is "this sucks". If that basic understanding isn't there, then there is absolutely no way to change it. The more people who understand why "this sucks", the better, and the more likely we will be able to unite for change.
