How about giving an example? There are lots of times where I write stuff up, as a FO, which they turn out to be issues that need to be fixed in domicile vs being discovered at an outstation.

Why would nothing cause 4-6 hour delay? If it was nothing, mx would either sign it off as being airworthy, or it would be a quick fix.

Or the one that wrote up "red paint chipped from guarded mtx switch". The one behind the CA seat in the CRJ-200. Required mtx to drive a new guard from GSP to CLT.
