Yes...while on IOE, you belong to the school house. If you get done with IOE after the bids close, CS will give you what ever reserve or standby line.

I was told if you Complete IOE by the 21st of April with paperwork, signoff etc completed, as long as its before 12 pm then you can bid for the month of May. Realistically you truly would need to be done by the 19th/20th latest with all the I's and T's completed.

That's why I said: if you get done with IOE after the bids close.

You'll be on reserve either way.

About to start training, had a question...On the first day of training is picking your base/equipment one of the first things you do? Start on the 11th and trying to find out all I can.

I believe that is an accurate statement. Been a while, maybe someone newer can chime in?

That is correct they will meet you in the lobby around 7 and walk you to a room, where somebody will write down all of the bases and the equipment available at each base. They will collect your required documents stated in the letter you received except for the check(You don't need a check in actuality, just the routing number and account to set up direct deposit). They will give a quick introduction and then bidding begins say no later than 715 starting with the oldest person and ending with the youngest person. The bidding is just them calling out your name and you yelling back the base and equipment. Lasts no longer than 5-10 min depending on class size.

Good luck getting what you want, and keep in mind atm there is alot of movement so there is a chance of bidding into another base before you end training if you did not get the base you want. Also if you want a jet and end up in an ATR there is only a 1 yr seat lock then you can transition. Once you get a Jet Slot you are locked until you Upgrade so choose wisely.

Eagle will be lucky to be around in the coming years. AMR wants to get rid of eagle. Taking a position at this company is like a road to no-where like most of the regionals. If thats your goal then go for it. The upgrade time is horrible and the pay! i once thought it was a place to be interview there and decided to go elswhere. Is "Nick" the EMB FO still doing the interviews?
