i asked the same question and they told me they were gonna send me to DFW because it was a quick and easy process (it was). i live close to both so i didn't mind.
by the way if anyone is curious what the bases/equip were for the 4/11 class they were as follows 5 DFW EMJ 10 MIA EMJ 1 LGA CRJ 5 ORD CRJ 8 SJU ATR ... youngest to take a jet was 24. keep in mind this means nothing about what will be available for the next class but i thought i'd help you out if you were curious ;) HI Did U join the 4/11 class.... What A/C did U chose, ?? Do U know what kind of TT people had who were selected..... Guys pls correct me if I got it correct or if I am missing something........ That choosing ATR is better, one is locked in for only 1 year & if more people leave after a year, which means more people who are senior to you leave ATR , that means when U are 4 or 6 or 8 months senior, you are like at 2 years seniority as compared to CRJ/EMJ, then U have a chance of faster upgrade at ATR, if U stick to ATR Is this correct or everyone else also thinks that way & picks ATR..... |
You say you read the entire thread, yet you continue to ask questions that have been repeated throughout the thread by folks who also claimed to have read it.
I would suggest some classes on reading comprehension, or perhaps less fabrication. A simple statement that you didn't want to have to read through over 190 pages would have been better. The truth always is. |
8fo's to the ATR SJU?
Seems like a lot of FO's for ATR SJU.
Is the SJU base expanding or is this to backfill folks leaving for other airplanes? |
To the recent new hires at AE. What were your times upon getting the offer?

I may have missed that, I was not sure that a candidate could choose what aircraft they want to go......
Any update on the hiring / interview calls Also, are there any benefits for chosing ATR over RJ or vice versa, what is the opinion of people........ ATR ground school is a little more tricky FWIU, but don't qoute me on that. ATR /RJ -hmm. you like flying a jet or prop? Where do you want to get based at? It's all up to you, and what your qaulity of life wants and needs are. Also, I heard that Eagle is going through thier 800 hr apps like a hot knife through butter and there is talk mins may get lowered again. Can anyone confirm or deny this? |

Is Eagle really picking up guys at 800 TT or is it just to attract more resumes & apps & then choosing from them, who to call......... Also, is there any other bases for ATR or is only SJU |
