2) Interview is a 1 day process but most people have to fly in to DFW the night before; but the actual interview (H.R, Tech & Sim) is a one day affair. You'll probably know you made it or not by 2-3pm.
After you are given the green light on the day you will receive a pre-conditional offer of employment which means you are being considered PENDING your PRIA and other background checks.
Make sure you declare all check fails and DUIs the WILL find out. I had two FAA and one 141 stage fail....no problem (+ a bunch of 135 check rides and all checks since these training hiccups are passes). Just be honest and tell them what you discovered about yourself when you failed.
After 2-3-4 weeks you will get a call from Hiring Manager saying "congrats" and off you got to do your medical (2 pee tests, 1 hearing test). After this you are all good to join a ground school, which start every 2 weeks.
1) Hiring interview ( 1 day)
2) Background checks
3) Medical exam
I did a bunch of 121/135 interviews and Eagle was BY FAR the most professional, organized, polite and open group of people. Very pleasant experience IF YOU STUDY. Read the gauges they are 110% accurate.
If you get the interview then the job is yours to give away. Don't be dumb - study!

Yes that's the process.
I my case I went to the review board and they said everything was good but I needed to get 50 more hours of flight time or take a 10 hour instrument refresher on a crf at ATP. I opted for the latter because it will help alot with the sim ride. I didn't have alot of recent flight time so if you're coming back after a layoff of some sort, expect this.

Well thats kind of my question, I just worded it poorly. I flew 121 but my last aircraft flown since then was a 172. Im curious as to which systems to study? Obviously im hoping for a 172 since its almost been 2 years since the CRJ.

My interview is coming up really soon, I dont wanna jump the gun here but pending everything goes smoothly I wanted to get some opinions from people currently flying for Eagle about bases and commuting. Im orginally from south florida and would like to get back down their. I really dont care what airframe I end up with but the crj would be nice! How difficult would it be to get CRJ/ORD and commute out of MIA, if even possible? Or CRJ anywere and commuting out of MIA for that matter.

When you get 1 year, then bid the CRJ and get a new life living in ORD.
Just my 2 cents...

MIA to ORD is not a bad commute AA have like 4 flights a day...
