No disrespect RJ, but commuting can often be necessary when on first-ish year pay AND based in many of the high cost of living cities IMHO.

Working for Eagle is a choice. Or any other outfit for that matter.

In another few years no one becoming a pilot will learn an NDB, its the next Loran, minus the fact its an AM radio and used for news/1940s music. Even VORs will be gone in my lifetime. GPS is the current future.

Not in the Caribbean. Alot of airports we fly to out of SJU only have NDB apprchs. Heck most of the airports have no radar. You gotta know how to shoot an NDB.

If something is current (the present), how is it the future? It's already here.

The current industry indications would make one believe the future conditions would indicate such situation is most likely to be the highest probable outcome.

Ok EDIT: If you choose to work for an airline, your circumstances may require that you commute.

I did all the airline apps but I heard back pretty quickly after emailing that address. I just put a nice sentence saying thank you for taking the time to look over my attached resume, etc etc.

Thanks for the reply.
Did you address it to anyone particular?
