You better know the material front to back, captain and fo flows, and everything within reach in your brain.

I agree with knowing the flows, callouts and profiles. Study all the material, but focus on those. I practiced the profiles & callouts by walking around the ATP parking lot. The staff are committed to your success--work hard and they will teach you well. I'm looking forward to AE training next month--after I passed the RJ course. :)

Is anyone going the the RJ course this Saturday? I'll be there?

On a different subject and sorry to ask if the question was answered, can someone clarify the Runway Visual Range questions? What's RVR X-Y-Z? X for TDZ, Y Mid and Z Rollout RVR?

lakehouse 08-31-2011 04:46 PM

check like 10 pages back about the RVR question, flywife asked it not to long ago.

On another note, what is the code to post a trip for drop, not RF100 drop, but the one to post it now that auto is open? Thanks!,

NEVERMIND I FOUND IT, I did not realize it was on the HT page. DUH =(

Do new hires who don't meet the 800/100 get to choose which ATP academy they attend or is JAX the default?

I think they'll send you where they want to. Anyway they will pay for it, so just go.

Careful-read your contract. There is a stipulation that says either if you fail ATP school, you have to pay the $5k they paid on your behalf back or if you fail out of Eagle ground school you have to pay it back. I can't remember which scenario it is, but just something to consider.

If you fail Eagle ground school, I don't think you pay it back.

I think if you fail ATP or quit Eagle after your hire date, you pay it back. There might be a couple other stipulations, but I thought I read something about NOT having to pay it back if you wash out of Eagle training.

So a friend told me the first day of indoc Eagle people said they need to hire 350 more pilots before years end. My question is how, and where they'll find these pilots? The same guy interviewed with 13 people and was the only one hired.

Are even LOWER minimums coming? Me thinks wet comm/multi...
