Get rid of the 3 strikes B.S. All training should be train to proficiency.

it was one time until ALPA gave it away for 3 strikes.

What do you do with the people that can't be trained to be proficient? I would like to have the list so I can plan my sick calls. There's already an unspoken list btw if you didn't already know.

If there are people who cant be brought up to a level of proficiency, the company needs to look at either their training program, or their hiring requirements. If a majority of people have no problem with the training except a small few, then there is a problem in one of these areas... Seems to be a pretty easy way to make train to proficiency work...

I can't think of any other place that has this 3 strikes BS. It should be train to proficiency just like at every other airline. I don't understand why AE has to make you put you job in jeopardy every 6 or 12 months. It's unacceptable and should be one thing we address in full sec. 6 negotiations come 2013

According to my previous sim instructors an AQP program is in the works. He made it sound as though PC's would become non jeopardy, more training less evaluating.
