I did, but will there be a LAX CRJ base is the question. It was only a matter of time since United was offering a better product with Skywest's CR7's over AE ERJ's. I'm guessing ORD CRJ crews will be doing the LAX flying through DEN, SLC and OKC. Anyone know which new routes the ERJ will be doing? If so anyone know how many additional staffing they will need in LAX?

The CRJ is doing DEN, IAH, OKC, PHX and one ABQ. ERJ will do ELP, 2 ABQ, SMF, BOI, SLC, and TUS. So it will probably be ORD flying through DEN, IAH, OKC, and ABQ. Just rounding off block times I got 38 hours of extra ERJ flying a day out of LA or 1140 a month. Divided into 75 hour lines that's an additional 15 lines of flying. This is only a guess though.

Big vacancy bid just out, over 100 ERJ Captain spots open between ORD and DFW.

Nice, makes sense. I heard 3 additional ERJ's will be added to LAX, so 15 lines is about 30 additional crews? I'm hoping to get LAX as a base in the near future so I can finally drive to work!

Is Eagle still doing the 50 questions during the interview process?

DashDriverYV 10-21-2010 08:02 PM

No ATP questions for the interview

Thanks. Did you interview there?

probably will hire at least 400 and then additional to replace attrition to other airlines. I would guess they will need to hire 600 to get it done.

On their web page Eagle says that an applicant needs to be instrument current.

Are there any other recency requirements for hours flown in the previous six or 12 months?
