Question for those of you who spend the night at DFW before the interview...
I'm staying at the candlewood this Sunday and I'm planning on taking a garment bag for my suit. Do you all know if Eagle hq bldg has a room for our bags, or should we leave it with the front desk people at the hotel?
What is you guys experience with this...?
Thanks.

Do you guys read the papers they sent you by email? Before going to the interview and part of being prepared about it is...READ EVERYTHING AND EVERY WORD THEY SENT YOU BY EMAIL, PAPERS, FAX, SMOKE SIGNALS, etc...
"The morning of your appointment, please take the hotel shuttle van to HDQ2 (4255 Amon Carter Blvd.) where American Eagle Recruitment is located. Please check with the hotel desk for the times of the van service. Please check out of your hotel room in the morning and bring your belongings with you (unless you are required to stay an additional night because of flight schedules). Please arrive no later than 8:00 a.m. Late arrivals will not be eligible to participate in interviews."
I don't want to be a douche, but man...it's clearly in the paperwork.

Interview done, and pre-offer extended!
The interview was a great experience. Everyone was really friendly. I actually had a lot of fun. Only about 1/3 of us got the offer, which I thought was surprising; everyone seemed pretty sharp! Now I just need to wait out the review board...
Good luck to those of you with interviews coming up.

Until you've done all 3 phases (HR, Tech and sim), when they call you, you never want to hear "Why don't you bring your stuff too"
But yes, either way they will send you direct from HQ to the airport with all your stuff so don't leave stuff at the hotel.
Good luck on the interview!

I thought I was toast until he took me into the room with the pre-offer on the table. Apparently I was the only one selected that day out of 6.

Hey you're not being a douche! it's clearly there! and I probably read it a thousand times! but after long days of studying and filling out paper work and redoing my logbook 1000 times because 1 simple hour keeps throwing off my flight time grid then you get brain freeze lol. But anyways, thanks for pointing it out.
Anyways, good luck with the interview. I know that probably you already have a little part of the amazon ripped off. lol!!!!
1 hr should not be a problem...probably a miss calculation somewhere, it happened to me.

That has been the norm, Eagle has probably offered a job to 40% of the people they interview. Congrats, it's the holiday season so it could be next year before you are in class. Be patient and enjoy the time with your family and friends because when you start it will be fast paced. Congrats again.
