Out of DFW its pretty much all over the South, Southeast coast, New Mexico, and a handful of midwest cities thrown in like CVG, DSM, etc... And all our Mexican destinations.
ORD is all over the midwest (overlaps with DFW quite frequently), a handful of mid-Atlantic cities like PIT and SYR, a few southern ones like MEM, XNA, TUL...and all the Canadian destinations. ORD also overlaps with JFK/LGA routes quite a bit.

The CA didn't have to give him the jumpseat. That means the captain is actually the idiot in that story for not acting within his command to resolve the issue before leaving the gate. And if he did react as stated (doubtful) he would be summarily terminated without union representaion (Rule 32). A good CA realizes that an FO can make a big difference in his quality of life and that it's not a good idea to burn bridges. Aviation is a very small world.

It's good to see that the FAA isn't imposing the maximum fine on their pals in airline management. The "maximum" fine of $27,500 is simply there for show. Looks like they'll actually be coughing up about $1000 per pax and the corporate/government incestuous affair continues in the airline industry.
