Be glad they pay for the RJ course, it's for your benefit. Anyway you will get paid on the 15th of Dec. It will be by check, mailed to your home address and from then on you will get direct deposit. Let me give you a piece of advice, leave all these little comments at home when you board the AA airplane on December the 4th this will also be for your benefit.

I doubt it. The company is doing this for THEIR benefit, not the new hire's. Think about it. It costs the company thousands of dollars to train each pilot. If a new hire washes out, that's money down the drain. It's in the company's best interest to pay for a little extra pre-training to help ensure the pilot makes it through training.

It benefits the company as well as the individual, should he be paid for this, training absolutely. But it's hard to make a case for people getting paid during this training when we have individuals paying for their airline training (Gulfstream). As movement begins and the experience of candidates becomes less and less, then we might see people getting paid as well as sign on bonuses. But as long as we have people willing to pay to fly for a 121 carrier were are not going to make any progress.
