You don't think wingtips had anything to do with the direction of this thread?

And you are not helping steer it fro its current path! I guess it's going to be a long 3 days until we receive out term sheet. This forum is turning in a **** hole but with the lack of information being provided by our union we have to come to this place and try to make sense of things, this forum can be a good tool for us as a whole specially since we might get a chance to vote on a new contract in the coming weeks. I beg those of you that are arguing and playing childish games to stop it or do it by PM. People not contributing to this forum is detrimental to us as whole, those are ideas lost and information that is not shared! Miss informed people might not choose the correct answer and we know that management will give us enough so that a vote is 50% +1, in other words we need as many pilots informed and aware as we could get.

I left the page and like 4 days later there are 12 pages of wingtips and eaglefly discussion.

Eaglefly take this as an advise, you're now in AA, stop posting in eagle thread. Unless is informative stay in the AA thread, that way you won't have a heart attack.

Guys, stop feeding the trolls here, we have 3 more days before they present us what management want from us (no Vaseline).

Mods, can you please erase like the last 20 to 30 pages???!!!!!!!!!!

As for EagleFly and WingTips, stop the back and forth bickering. The thread will be closed if it continues.

why not suspend them rather then close a 567 page thread with so much information.
1+

But in reality there are like 520 pages of information if you take out the wingtips - eaglefly discussion.

That would be a lot of work. I'm ok leaving it like it is, despite the tone of the last few pages. Just keep it clean from here on out and everything will be fine. If you guys want to trash each other, do it over the PM function.

Agreed. I prefer to discuss issues, not members and will make an honest and renewed effort to do that. I don't think any member or members should decide who posts where. Regional pilots can and should be able to post on the major forums, cargo, etc. and vice versa as that is the value of the forum. I've said repeatedly that if someone dislikes me or isn't interested in reading anything I say, tune me out via the electronic method used to do that and their problem is solved. Note to mods : I will bend over backwards to avoid personal posts and simply let you mod content via the report function.

Now.........let's get back to issues and not members !

Question for anyone who understands the 1113

As I understand it this is the opener from management to labor. My question is how can we discuss this when AA scope hasn't been decided?

What else does the 1113 do?

Good question. I think AMR knows the minimum it will get scope wise and that is something akin to the competition. EXACT numbers are not known, but I think they need a foundation to use to balance bids out for SOME of that flying.

AMR will get E-jets of at least E-175 size (76-seat) and quite possibly a number of 88-seat E-190's similar to the competitons number of 90-seaters. Who will fly how many is what they may need to move forward on determining and for that they need to OFFICIALLY engage with ALPA (and ultimately Eagle pilots). Unless ALPA intends to overstep the pilot group and unilaterally vote for MEC ratification, whatever comes down the pike will be put up for vote (with the usual threat of take-it-or leave it, we'll go to the judge, etc.) by the pilots, so it seems they're ready to move forward. It wouldn't surprise me tyo see a lot of "murk" in the 1113. It will have pay rates, methodologies for determining them and adjusting them, work rule alterations and benefit adjustments, but it may not have specifics to future fleet size or any guarantee of flying. It will likely have caveats that more flying will be awarded to Eagle then not, if AMR's proposals are agreed to.

I think they want to pin down your numbers first and then decide how much of the pie Eagle will do and how much they will be on the hook for seeking other bids for. Just my opinion on that..............
