let them bid it out, between AA scope, and staffing problems at other airlines, they wont get anywhere.

I am glad they want to do profit sharing, that could turn out to be a really good thing.

Sky Talk: Garton: We can operate Eagle with 5 percent fewer positions or 500 workers

at least 5% of our pilots would only be about 160 pilots and we've all ready furloughed 70 plus about 50 who took the long term leave. So hopefully we at least wont lose many more pilots.

it also says they could be reduced through furlough OR attrition over time...dont get too worked up by the headline....

jumpseat2024 03-21-2012 01:55 PM

anybody hear anything from ALPA yet about today's meetings? A FA I'm flying with got an email from their camp and it said, amongst other things, something about a merger with AA...

flysooner9 03-21-2012 01:59 PM

Term sheet is on the ALPA website for all Eagle pilots to see. One of the first thigns that jumps out at me is 70 hr guarantee for god sakes even Mesa has 76hrs Republic 75 and Commutair of all places 82! That alone would be around a 2,000 dollar pay cut for any rsv FO and obviously even more for a rsv captain.

Also Perdiem cut to like 1.60 i think with no increase
Each level looses 1 week of vacation accrual
Captains take a 5% pay cut and are capped at 15 years.

Once they know your Eagle its even worst.

You obviously repeat what you here or only fly on AA. Try Delta. USAIR wanna shoot you before you say hi. Or maybe its just you!!!

Hell yeah they will. See we furlough, those pilots need to work. Skywest or who ever holds recruiting events at eagle bases and offers small perks. If you don't believe that, well I was at comair, and our mec kept saying that same crap, republic took a bunch of the furlough and had no shortage, during a so called shortage. But I say fem let them make their regional product like delta which is by far the worst service in the industry
