I disclosed it right from the get go. Before i submitted my app in airlineapps they asked "have you ever received a warning letter?" I clicked yes, and explained the entire incident.
I actually did not even interview with them, i just got an email saying i was denied.
If they would have asked me how i respond to criticism I would answer VERY honestly. I respond very aggresively if someone is calling my qualifications, experience, knowledge, or intengrity into question, but if I am wrong, I accept responsibility and explain my actions.
It must have been something else. Thanks alot for your support though, I appreciate your kind words. Time to get back on the horse and move on.

The FED on my jumpseat yesterday didn't find one that we "broke," and neither of us is Chuck Yeager.

On a more serious note...
tomorrow I'm going to try to commute to work. If by chance I don't get on 1 of the 4 (i know the min is 2 documented) I'm obviously going to use the ol' commuter clause. Now, even if I pull the clause on Xmas eve, I still have to keep trying to get to work right? It's not like they just figure I won't be there for the rest of my trip....?

2. RETURN TO DUTY
In the event that the pilot is unable to report for his originally scheduled sequence or RAP or Reserve Duty Period, then the following will occur in order:
b. Crew Scheduling will .place the pilot back on the next leg of his originally assigned sequence when it transits his domicile, if the pilot is in domicile at that time All missed flying will be subject to the pay deduction specified by Section 3.E.1.b.
c. The pilot may be assigned a sequence from his domicile’s available open time in order to fill the period of time between his arrival in domicile and the time that he is placed back on his original sequence. Only open time remaining available after that day’s reserve proffering period has closed will be so assigned. Any assigned open time will be paid at straight time rates with no premium and will be credited toward the flight time lost to offset the pilot’s pay deduction incurred as a result of Section 3.E1.b.
d. A reserve pilot who will miss an assigned trip due to commuting difficulties as specified above, may be placed back on reserve and his originally scheduled trip be assigned to another reserve in its entirety. A pilot holding a line of time may also volunteer to sit reserve in domicile and be so assigned by mutual agreement between the pilot and Crew Scheduling. The pilot volunteering for reserve duty will be paid as per Section 3.C.3.
e. A reserve pilot who will not be in domicile for the start of his RAP may have his RAP adjusted.
f. Nothing in this agreement shall prevent the affected pilot and Crew Scheduling from reaching an alternative, mutually agreed upon assignment.
Last year I had this happen and asked the scheduler if he could just take me off the rest of the trip since I couldnt make it in, he said sure and I used a CP to cover the whole thing. Sucks to lose 20hrs of pay, but can be worth it.

I heard that the Jan 17th class will have 39 New hires in the class. Anyone have any idea of what bases and equipment are going to be offered for this class. I know it is a little early, but I would like to know if anyone finds out?
