You don't get paid for flights thats are cancelled for any reason, that alone sucks a tailpipe..... I would much rather fly my CL65 and be compensated well and have good work rules than ever walk through the door at RAH. You guys really need to start understanding that flying a big shiney jet does not pay your bills or better position yourself for your career. One last thing I've noticed, there are a TON of guys at RAH that really need to learn radio manners.....oh and quit the tough guy deep voices....you just sound lame.

Compensated well to fly a crj? None of us at the regionals are compensated well for what we do. Especially considering what people in our seats, flying the same routes we do, made a decade ago before we replaced them. You seem so proud of your company and contract. Prior to hiring on you obtained copies of every contract out there, compared them, and then chose accordingly right? Yeah sure you did.

As for manners, I agree. But it's not just us it's everyone. One thing we agree on is all the dorks who try to lower their voice and sound Yeager-esque are indeed dorks. And sadly I do hear quite a few of them with our call signs.

Don't be offended by an obvious answer to a pointless question CN. For the record I'm not clairvoyant. I worked there for three years so I speak from personal experience. You also need to change your post. SWA, FEDEX, and UPS should be replaced with Comair, Express Jet and ASA. You work at a company that is substandard compared to regional pay and work rules. To speak of RAH in the same sentence with SWA, Fedex and UPS, even in jest, is silly. IMO

Yawn. . . Move on Curly. As far as the "replacements" go this place is just as fine as any of the others. In your next life why don't you and your peers leave behind a better environment than you joined. I realize that's probably asking too much of the new Americans but I'm a dreamer.

Wow, another immature pilot "attempting" to slam us. Grow up son. You bringing up radio calls? Are you kidding me? I'm in and out of CLT, PHL, DCA and constantly hear nothing but immaturity from PSA specifically. I don't know where you work, nor do I care, but I'm glad you're happy where you are. You're compensated well? Now that's funny.

Get over yourself son.

80, you're still around? Wow, you seem to be bringing a lot to these forums with posts like that.

The immaturity level here astounds me..not really though.

While immaturity on the boards is rampant the fact is ALL regional pilots are grossly underpaid. RAH is on the bottom end of the spectrum especially for the FO. I find it irritating when pilots at a regional even joke about being discussed on the major level and even more irritated by regional pilots being critical of other regional pilots. The MAG pilot group is a good example. Everyone wanted to talk down to MAG pilots because of their pay and work rules without considering the ongoing multiple battles they fought with JO for scope and one seniority list. The same battle was fought at RAH during the last negotiation. That said if you are a pilot at a regional don't pretend to be better than anyone else or think for one minute you are even close to being on the same playing field as a major airline. Regional pilots are working at less than B scale pay rates flying someone else's routes.
