Cool, probably where I'll end up after they figure this thing out.

I find it even more weird that Colgan is interviewing off the street at all when there are Mesaba furloughs. Sounds a bit fishy to me. Why not just recall the Mesaba guys, we all know whats happening in the long run anyways. Classic example of Corp taking care of its people.

All furloughed Mesaba pilots have been given the opportunity to work for Pinnacle or Colgan while retaining their Mesaba seniority number and longevity. After we complete SLI all Mesaba furloughs will be given their official recall before any new hiring is done off the street.

If it were me on furlough I would want to know what exactly I was coming back to. That won't be determined until the SLI is complete. At that point they would still be understaffed. Maybe they are just trying to be proactive. Just a thought

Colgan is extremely understaffed right now. Q fo's are getting lines out of training and there are no reserves. On the saab side, we are staffed pretty good in IAD but just about every other base is understaffed. In the last bid, IAD pilots got to bid lines in PQI, ALB, and CRW. Our reserves are also routinely tdy'ed to IAH. I'm the second most junior fo in IAD and I am over guarantee while on reserve for this month.

Latest update from a union email regarding the SLI said the Colgan and Mesaba MEC's tried to meet once again during the week of April 25th but the Pinnacle MEC did not respond. So we continue to wait for the arbitrators decision.

PCL was open for continued negotiations. Mesaba and Colgan were not interested in future meetings.

Yes. Either the Mesaba or PCL MEC is lying. I'm only repeating what my union told me. I have been very impressed with the maturity of the three groups. I believe we are coming together as a group (cue kum by yah music). I don't want to see things move backward.

Were you told this by a rep or in an official email from the union?
