I am a Colgan pilot and as of right now based on the information we have I am voting yes. I do not agree with the split saab rate but that is only a temporary problem.
It was explained to me that when a granfathered Saab FO upgrades he will go under the normal captain rate. Thus eventually the FO's will upgrade and there will be no more grandfathered FO's. Grandfathered CA's will remain but one would assume eventually the grandfathered CA's would want to move to a better paying aircraft or perhaps even get a job at a better airline...
The Q rates are acceptable to me. Yes I wish they paid more than the 50 seat jet however it is a HUGE improvement over what we have now.
Any Colgan pilot that votes no on this is totally off the rocker...

Any 70 seat rate that pays less than a 50 seat rate should be considered unacceptable.

Good thing everyone does not think like you...

But hey lets vote NO on the entire thing simply because the Q400 rate does not match the 74 seat Jet rate...

But when you have pilots saying "9e and XJ folks, don't get too concerned about what the 9L people say. Even if every Colgan pilot votes "no", it will only take about 62% of each of your groups to ratify" then you've got problems in your house - especially before SLI, regardless of the financial gains in the contract.
Even an idiot should be able to see the Ford & Harrison touch on this agreement...

i'm not saying vote no; i don't work for any of the 3 airlines...or any airline, for that matter.

I will vote yes...More to like than not by a long-shot in the TA. Not really happy with the SAAB split pay, but was happy that insurance went down about 50%. Couple that with the slight bump in pay, and I will see a measurable bump in my paycheck.
