I knew as soon as fuel turned, Frontier and other small airlines are going to be squeezed.

Bedford has actually done a lot of amazing things with the brand since 10/09.
Has the day to day operation stumbled? Definitely, but consider the following.
Neither Midwest or f9 had an IBE that worked. That tried combining the two and when that failed they built a new one from scratch.
He has reallocated over 40 fee for departure aircraft that were abandoned.
He has unloaded 8 318's, picked up three 319's from mexicana for the price of 1.5 q400's, and added several 320's with more on the way.
He is replacing 24 e170 and e145 with 190's.
You have to give the guy credit with respect to the fleet he started with less than two years ago.
He identified the fact that fee for departure was dying (revenue has declined for nine consecutive quarters), and moved rapidly to shine up the pig that is the "brand".

"What we didn’t report was that the 17 E170s and the 13 E135/145 regional jets we fly under the Frontier brand actually lost about $15 million."
And
"We also announced a revised CPA agreement with Delta, which will allow us to move the majority of the E170s from loss-making flying at Frontier to profitable CPA flying with Delta. That’s a good outcome for everyone.
Why the major airline partners continue to support or bail BB out of the situation he created is beyond me. Just funding the continued operations of your direct competitor. I thought airline management was supposed to be "smart."
You think Bedford has done some AMAZING things....Yes I have to agree...He has taken two good airlines and DESTROYED them....He is SO arrogant, he did not need to rely on any of the employees of either airline. Have any of you looked at his resume...He has NEVER sold a seat on an airplane...He recognized and exploited the fee for departure business for years, now that that side of the business is over..he has NO idea what to do....My only HOPE and DREAM is that his next job is running the lav trucks, and his supervisor does not train him...so he gets a face full of what he is full of.....rest assured.. Republic is OVER....for those still there, good luck in today's economy trying to get a flying job...especially with the reputation you will carry with you...

The RAH pilots sacrificed a lot in pay and work rules to get a scope section that would hold up to all attacks....looks like the scope section was worth it.

Yet another pilot wishing ill will on others. Whatever "reputation" you think RAH pilots carry with them is just fantasy or wishful thinking on your part. Southwest, DAL, and Jetblue have had no issues hiring RAH guys. Those aren't the only ones. Also, RAH is not OVER. I wouldn't shed a tear if it turned out that way, but its by no means true at this time.

Did you guys see that Undercover Boss episode with BB in it? I couldn't believe that guy runs an airline. I bet half the pilots that work for Republic/Frontier would do a better job.

Actually, there was a special meeting about this with the union last week. Didn't attend so I don't know what was said but they are starting to look at it I think.
