He's not a union rep.

What's your point? My post is rather PC. I was a rep until I resigned due to upgrade into another base. At this point I have full autonomy as any other dues paying line pilot does. As a DL guy I'm sure you have your own mindset on things- just as you did while the NWA/DL Sli was in progress.

I can also name numerous reps from other carriers on here as well. You can look at my history. I stand up/stood up for my fellow pilots and bring facts to a discussion. I post under an obvious name to be accountable to everyone.

You do realize that DL reps and high up union types post with very regular frequency, don't you? They do it more discretely than higney, but it's quite obvious that they are.

Roger that. Highney is a standup guy and an asset to all Pinnacle Corp. pilots (yes, that includes XJ & 9L) for his open and honest posts on what's going on.

With that said. Pinnacle might have submited multiple copies of an updated list. Both containing multiple errors. I believe the first list might have contained more than 100....AGAIN, I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT THE DOH ISSUE. These issues might include a person hired for another job and then hired as a pilot. (DOH reflected original hire date), place holder, and people disapearing and then re-appearing.

This is only speculation though.
The problem is that PCL management provided the list with numerous inconsistencies from the certified list. This was a product of some internal procedural problems within the PCL Crew Planning department as well as some information that was never updated in the company database after errors were found in the certifying process. Because of the short notice nature of Bloch's request, the initially produced lists were not accurate and they were not sourced from the proper department within PCL.

There was not an effort on anyones part to manipulate the list and had more time been given to complete the task it would have turned out correct the first time. Its unfortunate that seniority list maintenance is an entirely manual process and the company even has inconsistencies in data between departments but thats just the way it is at PCL.

Proper data is now in the hands of Bloch but these now resolved inconsistencies are not the basis of the current dispute.

Shocker!!

What an incredibly incompetent group of people that reside in the puzzle palace. (except for a few truly wonderful exceptions)

Do tell?

Obviously, something with our 9E list, more then management clerical errors, is causing a problem to the point that XJ disputed our list. That is a huge step! Disputing now while the window closed April 15 is unheard of.

I want accountability. Right now, we are forced to kept in the dark. Fair enough, but if disputes start happening, a list that was suppose to be out by Monday does not come out, then we should be told exactly what the dispute is. I'm sorry, I didn't ask for this. I didn't ask my union to form a MOU to hire XJ furlough pilots, who could retain their XJ longevity for Pinnacle pay. This is unheard of! When was the last time one airline did that for another? I didn't ask for about 90% of the stuff that gets put through (or put out) by our union. It's like our government. You elect your leaders, and hope for the best. Next thing you know, they're wasting resources, doing unnecessary things, and passing programs that are unpopular with a large percentage of the people group. And I have to include the Mesaba MOU into this category. I also include bonus TA 1 methodology in this category.

Anyway, it'd be nice to know exactly what the hold-up was. The reason it's frustrating is because if the list has been fixed from clerical/book-work errors from our management, then there is something more deep that is upsetting XJ. Why wasn't this discussed and taken care of during negotiations, and certainly, before the disputing window closed on Apr 15? As I said, I'd like accountability, but to be honest, I expect 0% (just like our government).

Yeah some people just don't get it. Speculating and spreading misinformation should go unabated in all forms of communication everywhere at all times with nobody checking the facts.

He does nothing to inhibit the success of this combined airline. If anything, quite the contrary. Nice to see someone who doesn't use a web forum as an outlet for stupidity.

Pncl negotiators asked for the list to be held until Mid June.

Even if there are issues with the list from Corp, why was the Pncl MEC not actively working on getting a complete list together over the last 6 months? How did Erickson and his group not know that someday they would need an accurate list that was up to date? How about a reply from the man himself?
