I have been rather "upbeat" by the future possibilities, but if I (as a 9E guy) get bumped out of my seat/base by XJ guys off the Saab it's going to be quite a personal battle to hold my thoughts. Looking at the staffing everyone should be able to be absorbed, but that doesn't mean anything because it makes sense.
I have my own demons with this thing. As a 10 year XJ guy, I bid the same as someone at 680 on 9E's old seniority list after the SLI. |

A friend of mine just pointed out that my above post was wrong. He says that 9E cannot bid Saab captain even if the numbers are above the fenced positions. I did not know this so I looked it up.
For a period of five years beginning with the submission of the Integrated Seniority List, no Pinnacle pilot may be awarded or displaced to a Saab-340 captain position, and no pre-merger Colgan pilot may be awarded or displaced to a Saab-340 captain position unless Mesaba pilots maintain 129 Saab-340 captains. For a period of five years beginning with submission of the integrated seniority list, no pre-merger Pinnacle or Mesaba pilots may be awarded or displaced to a Q-400 captain unless Colgan pilots maintain 193 Q-400 captain positions. |

What can Saab new hires expect for jr bases? Dtw? I'm asking due to the post in "hiring News" stating most pinnacle new hires will be going to the Saab.
