I just flew with an FO with 4,000+ PCL time who is waiting for upgrade.

Never proclaimed it. Just pointing out what you guys may have missed about the experience of some of our & XJ's FO's.

It wasn't too many years ago at XJ that 4000TT & 2000ME was the MINIMUM time to upgrade to a turboprop captain slot, and 5000TT & 3000ME for a jet spot. It didn't hold up many because most had quite a bit more than that when they could hold the upgrade seniority wise.

This is what's so telling. Most original PCL FO's have 3,000+ CA's 7,000+. You just don't realize colgans inexperience level when it comes to who's upgrading.

You're preaching to the choir bro.

The Colgan guys are a good group though, try and cut them some slack. Good pilots.
