Management has publicly stated their intent to split F9 off from RAH.

I guess the best outcome would have been for F9 to be stapled to the top of the list. No, no, wait a minute, actually F9 should have been stapled to the top of WN's list. Yeah, yeah, that's what should have happened. I forget that when another company buys you out you deserve to be put on top of the list, or the top of the unemployment list that is. Let's be thankful there's a plane for you to fly.

I am. You don't seem to be. I believe both of us have equal thanks to give.

Considering I've been furloughed before, I'm pretty sure that I'm glad to have a job. With that said, no matter what happens I still believe in fighting for what's right. Your management asked you for pay cuts that you took when they themselves didn't dip into their own pockets. As far as equal thanks, well, I guess that I'm not equally thankful that you wouldn't stand up for a better QOL for the rest of your coworkers. Sure, you maybe perfectly content with your QOL but that doesn't mean you shouldn't stand up with the rest of the pilot group.

That's the problem with this industry. We all, every pilot group/union, should be fighting this battle together. Your pay should be equal to the same pay that the next door carrier is paying their pilot for the same equipment or capacity. Every time management want to make money/reduce costs, the first place they jab is the pilot group and most of the time they scare us into giving in. That's the whole point of this strike vote, to not give in and show them that no matter what this entire pilot group stands together and believes in an equal QOL for every single pilot, F9 or RP. Unfortunately there's two CBAs, but you know if you win one, you win them all. That's what unity gives you. You protect our backs and I can guarantee we'll protect yours.

This business that we're here to fly your airplanes is bs! We're all pilots here. We just want to fly for a living and get paid for it, but at the same time being able to support our families and having quality time with them while doing what most of us love to do.

There's 15 190s on branded side. I did like the Indy news video about the strike vote.... good press and the newscaster was pretty hot!

As has been discussed ad nauseam, the 190s are sometimes break-even in branded ops, and per the publicly available information, RAH is looking at wringing the $4MM/copy equity out of the fleet by selling them and canceling the future orders to get the pre-delivery payments back.

I bet you did like the news. It was totally inaccurate. "We are going to strike as soon as 30 days after the strike vote is complete."

It's all perspective. The behavior of 357 leadership has precluded this from happening.

We took a pay freeze as part of a restructuring plan that will allow us to continue and separate from your operation.

You may want to take a look before you continue in that vein:

This is the only thing we seem to agree on.
