Pinnacle can't reach an agreement with United and it parks the Q's and Saabs.

Well were getting close to April 2nd and another Friday has passed with no BK... Any new predications with United? This whole thing is jacked up, delaying annual reports to cook the books, BK to be filed the last 2 weeks, filing to get out of EAS, and just the general run around thus far. Thoughts?

Yeah little to quiet...only thing I know is the SEC needs to get some numbers IMO. We are almost out of the first quarter of this year still looking for last years numbers lol. How long do they get to cook the books?

I think it's just a matter of days before management announces the (sell/cut) of Colgan. With all the things going on at Corp and with the chatter I've been hearing, it’s not looking good boys. I really hope that my gut is wrong and we're able to renegotiate terms and rates with United, but all signs point to that not happening. I’m hoping for the best but preparing for the worst. I wish all pilots under the Pinnacle Corp umbrella the best of luck.

Yeah been hearing the samething, and that Skywest wants the Q400s on property. After all, they did want Horizons Q400 at one point but was turned away.... But then again, oil prices are on the rise and 50 seat RJ flying ain't gonna cut it much longer...

If they do sell the q's Pinnacle will not be around past 2017 IMO. They would be giving up their ability to branch out on their own and they would once again be a dci only carrier. The only other thing I could see happening after this is delta purchasing pncl certificate in bk and start parking 50 seat aircraft. Then the possibility would present itself to merge pncl and comairs lists and create a gateway to delta in the future to cover the 800 plus pilots per year that they will lose in 4 or 5 years.
