Is express Jet still flying a bunch out of Memphis or were they cut back in that 25% reduction by delta?

Good news? You must be the only regional pilot without a wet commercial ticket who thinks 717 and big Embraers at Comair or any regional is good news...

Haha, well don't believe everything I say. I doubt anybody believes 717s at a regional and I doubt anybody believes ATL execs are usually good things at OH. Needed a sarcasm button.

Bingo! I have heard this numerous times in the last few weeks...

Pinnacle mergers with Comair and becomes a B scale at Delta...the flying (CRJ700/900/1000, C-Series, and EMB190/195) would be inside "scope" because the B-Scale would technically be Delta pilots...

think about it, up front costs would be high, down the road not so much...it would solve the hiring problem in the next 10 years at Delta with about a 3k-4k pilot group if 9E and OH merged...

Wow you guys really do think Comair/Pinnacle is getting 100+ seaters, don't you? Hope floats, I get that, but come on man.

Definitely heard the Comair/Pinnacle merger *rumor* a few times. The rumor had some interesting supporting points. Time will tell. Never about operating anything other than RJs though....

Or do you just push buttons on an FMS with the autopilot on while trying to aim for every cloud because you have 10 hours of actual imc?

Wait until our MEC votes on the TA. We(the Delta Pilot group) will then have the opportunity to examine, then vote on the TA. There are a lot of us who will vote "no" if TA includes any additional 76 seat aircraft, one can only hope there are enough to shoot it down. Next time you wonder about how to improve the industry may I suggest you meditate on why you took that $20ish per hour job just to fly a jet, I'm curious what your conclusion might be....looking out for "number one" maybe?
I took that $17/hr job because mainline was too good to fly SAABs. Yet they all had DC-3's, Connie's etc. Working here is one of the most viable methods to get to a major. Your immature statements only show your ignorance about what we do at the regionals. Aim for every cloud..... Ignorant.

Someday when I am at a major I will advocate thru the union to fix this mess. I won't forget the screwed up system that constantly forces companies to undercut each other. We worked tirelessly to improve our contracts. But all it takes is NWA and Delta to "stop" paying us and we are in a sham bankruptcy. Twice now mainline has done this and we have no choice. We have no power to fix this on our end. Only the Mainline Mec's can affect the outcome. Hold the line on scope!!!!!!!

You guys are f'ing dreaming if you think Pinnacle is going to flow up into a some B scale. That's a laugher. I can't believe people even think that's remotely possible.

More like a drastic reduction of DCI 50 seaters offset by more 700/900's but still a reduction of DCI flying.
