lets have some fun

You must be a Mesa or Chautauqua b*tch yourself, huh? Haha...nothing "official" needs to be posted to talk sh*t about either of them. If you're in the industry and you don't 'get it' when it comes to bashing either contractor, you've gotta be one of them. Tell me I'm right. Regardless, quit cryin'.
As for who I work for look at my posts you can figure it out. Finally I figured you had nothing concrete just typical NewB BS.

Chautauqua is quickly becoming "the new Mesa", so it only makes sense that they'd make the same kinds of stupid decisions. We've watched Mesa make ridiculously stupid decisions in and around CLT for the last three years! To the point where some senior guys refused to even DH on 'em.
I don't buy that. We can argue pay, but this forum exists on the best resource for that. I believe that CHQ pilots are paid the middle of the road for the airplanes they fly. I've ridden on CHQ, and I haven't had any bad experiences. I just don't see any valid comparison. I've not heard anyone say that the pilot group at CHQ is stupid, except you. Bring the facts to back yourself up if you wanna argue the point. And BTW, I'm neutral because I don't exist in the 121 world.

smoke,
We all know that you XJetters are bashing us. It's cool, because it's been happening for 6 years from various codeshares. 25 years prior, we were about the size of colgan, and people taking pity on us. However, tell me ONE airline that has not had a blatant display of stupidity we can sit around and use for cheapshots.
If you wanted to discuss this incident and seek opinions, you would have never mentioned the operator. If you want to flame us, do it. Go ahead, but take the crap to the FIdiots. Let's try to keep a professional haven here.
Regards,
JS

Wouldn't be much to bank on there, Ski Patrol. My first upgrade was probably sometime around the time of your first solo. Get to the majors first? Ha....haha. Thanks for bringing some humor to the post! =)

Was that upgrade in the mighty Cessna 182? I thought so.
You never answered the original question by boiler are you incredibly ignorant, naive or both. Judging by your previous post....looks like both with a simple mind. You should team up with saaabrowski some time you two would make quite the pair. Enough said.
(glad I could bring some humor to the post!)

Unless you were there in the plane, you don't know what the heck was going through the crews mind. Obviously the outcome was satisfactory.
Personally, I think it's dangerous to second guess a crew. What me might think is right (after the fact) may never have occurred to them during the actual event.
I see nothing wrong with a 360. As for the turn to final before QRH is complete, how about turns in a hold over the outer marker?
How do we know that they didn't ask for a quick turn to double check things? Perhaps it was ATC that turned their base before they were ready? There's a number of reason's why they asked for the extra time.
Maybe the crew was ready to go (QRH complete to landing), but the FA called and asked for more time. If that was the case, then what difference does the holding pattern make? A box pattern is still a 360 turn. The only difference is that you level out for a few seconds/minutes at each 90 degree point.
You can do one 20 degree banked 360 just as easily as you can four 20 degree banked 90's...
