Make no mistake, Eagle ALPA has an agenda and manipulating their own pilots is a given.
Good call..what's your take on the stuff we've been tossed the past week? You seem to have a lot of insight on this stuff..I'm curious as to what someone that's been doing this a lot longer than me thinks about it..

I forget the rest, but at least LAX was smart
They sent out the results of a vote on a motion to let the pilots have input on duration. That was not the results of a vote on the ta.

We are doing a "survey". They gave us a little information about the differences;

6 years, it's only 2 years shorter and no benefits
8 years, it's only 2 years longer and a lot of hopes and dreams!

Doesn't matter what we do, it will end up being an 8 year deal by the looks of it

TC
Not sure about RAH but SKW payscale goes to 20 years, captains make more than AE and FOs make more than AE. Their FAs also get paid better than AE. I also know that their management sent out documents saying that SKW is the most expensive regional in terms of labor, and they are the second most profitable. According to them, guess who the most profitable regional is. Yup, eagle.

Edit: I would like to point out that their FOs flying the CRJ-200 make more than the FOs flying the -700 here at Eagle. How SKW could do the flying cheaper than AE is beyond me.
Got a copy of the letter?

till we refresh the union, Im voting no. We need to send a message that we want new faces in the union, and no more team Tony. Till that happens, I am voting no because I dont trust a thing. I remember at the family awareness event, DG and TG were sitting at a table telling a group of pilots that PBS is good, and only people who dont want pbs heard from a friend of a friends of a friend that its bad. That is not true, I hear from my Dad at United that it is awful. These guys are out of touch with the reality of the situation.

I still cant believe the ORD reps sent out an email, using their ALPA email list of everyone in the base, specifically naming who wanted them recalled with their employee numbers, I seriously cant believe ALPA national didnt have them removed. The company should fire them for this.

That could be difficult, since no other regional has contract terms as draconian as the term sheet. A scary path indeed, but maybe one we should take.
Really are you sure me and you have the same ruling. He is ok with paying AA pilots only 60% of sick time and have 88 seat RJs. He would have been ok unlimited codesharing if the business plan called for it. I can't see how anyone can read that and no see Judge Lane will give AMR anything they want.
Thank goodness we have a newbie to come save us from ourselves. Sorry kid, the APA has been negotiating contracts since probably before you were born.

You sound like a kid at his first airline job, first union job, first bankruptcy.

Let them impose anything they want and not negotiate in good faith. 500 will retire the next day as the tip of the iceberg.

From my assessment, Eagle pilots are hopelessly screwed as long as your current corrupt union leadership is in place. They will orchestrate whatever necessary to prevail in THEIRS and the company's interests as opposed to yours.

Your only real hope is to form a coalition of pilots willing to seek a labor attorney and peruse DFR and quickly. At that point, you may be able to stop their process of selling you down the river until the DFR issues are resolved or new leadership is in place.

In the interim if it were me, I'd reject anything that comes from a corrupt source.

Can you live under the AMR term sheet for possibly 2-5 years?

Just playing devil's advocate. I think there is still work to be done, but it looks much better than it did at the beginning.
Just worked for the AA pilots. I guess all your years of experience in the airlines means more.
