They sent out the results of a vote on a motion to let the pilots have input on duration. That was not the results of a vote on the ta.

Doesn't matter what we do, it will end up being an 8 year deal by the looks of it

I know AMR will distribute flying to Skywest and Republic as soon as they can, but foes anyone have avoid grasp on their contracts? I'm wondering how much Skywest/Express Jet or Republic pilots get paid. I was under the impression that Skywest has their fair share of senior pilots who get paid as well as the other regionals.

Edit: I would like to point out that their FOs flying the CRJ-200 make more than the FOs flying the -700 here at Eagle. How SKW could do the flying cheaper than AE is beyond me.

till we refresh the union, Im voting no. We need to send a message that we want new faces in the union, and no more team Tony. Till that happens, I am voting no because I dont trust a thing. I remember at the family awareness event, DG and TG were sitting at a table telling a group of pilots that PBS is good, and only people who dont want pbs heard from a friend of a friends of a friend that its bad. That is not true, I hear from my Dad at United that it is awful. These guys are out of touch with the reality of the situation.
I still cant believe the ORD reps sent out an email, using their ALPA email list of everyone in the base, specifically naming who wanted them recalled with their employee numbers, I seriously cant believe ALPA national didnt have them removed. The company should fire them for this.

Make the company lay it's cards on the table. I did read the ruling, and Judge Lane made it clear that AMR did not need unlimited codesharing because the competition did not have it. If American Eagle actually files an 1113 motion, then they will have to prove how the changes to our contract are needed. That could be difficult, since no other regional has contract terms as draconian as the term sheet. A scary path indeed, but maybe one we should take.
You sound like a kid at his first airline job, first union job, first bankruptcy.
Let them impose anything they want and not negotiate in good faith. 500 will retire the next day as the tip of the iceberg.

Your only real hope is to form a coalition of pilots willing to seek a labor attorney and peruse DFR and quickly. At that point, you may be able to stop their process of selling you down the river until the DFR issues are resolved or new leadership is in place.
In the interim if it were me, I'd reject anything that comes from a corrupt source.

I am in no way a cheerleader for this TA, but those of you saying "take it to the judge" need to look at how these things have gone in the past. It NEVER works out in the pilot group's favor. Yes we will be able to negotiate a new contract after we emerge from BK, you have to remember how long it takes to get a GOOD contract negotiated. It takes SEVERAL years. Can you live under the AMR term sheet for possibly 2-5 years?
