Not said to me but I witnessed this as in ABQ a couple of months ago. Waiting to board a United flight, the crew was about 30 minutes late. The gate agent was bashing on the pilots for not being on time to all the pax waiting in the gate, and saying how see was going to give them an ear full when they arrived. Pilots walked up with a box of donuts, some coffee, and a bag of burger king breakfast. She greeted them warmly. I guess she lost her b**ch attitude when see realized that she was just a gate agent after all.
