G7 growing again?

Apparently you didn't read what I said. I'll help you. I said, "is it true that there's no medical and dental or it's worse than Cobra?" As in the amount you pay. He was looking into Cobra when he left his last airline before starting at GJ, since there's a gap from the time he left and a time he can qualify for insurance at GJ. He would have to pay about $1,000/month. If He's paying that kind of cost for insurance at GJ, it's pathetic. Yes, I know it varies from OAP to HRA and the amount from the last employer, but having to pay $500/month+ for medical is horrible.
There is medical and dental, they're both expensive though. There are 4 different tiers of coverage with 'family' obviously being the most expensive.
Family is $540 a month which is definitely a lot in my opinion. There's a $500 deductible (an 80/20 split after the deductible has been met), with $1900 max out of pocket per person (or $3800 per family). Prescriptions are $10 and there is no co-pay for doctor visits.
There is a co-pay for emergency room visits and I think that's 100 bucks.
Greatest insurance in the world? No. Cheapest? No. But to say that it's 'worse than cobra' is simply ignorant. You either pay no attention to your coverage or you are still on your parents' plan.

Again, since COBRA is a continuation of benefits from your previous employer, the amount you must pay VARIES from employer to employer. So to ask "is it worse than COBRA?" depends on an individual's situation; it is impossible to make a blanket statement like that.

Cobra is the continuation of benefits. There's no such thing as being worse than cobra. Cobra is simply a continuation, hence the acronym.

Obviously something attracts you to troll and post on the G7 forums. If it is not jealousy then I will assume you have nothing better to do with your free time which is sad sad sad. Keep your head up---something will come your way.

Call it what you want but it still takes time and effort to keep up with every G7 post and then post comments that are often not true. All I know is that I usually spend my time on things that interest me and pertain to me. I find it sad and funny that the haters can not live without keeping up with and commenting on G7. Justify it any way you want to but the truth is people can't seem to stay away. Now bring on the one liners and lets get this clever party started.
