yea that’s what I've heard, being home every night sounds nice though. What is there policy on vacation days and such? I'm guessing like most companies you don't get anything until you've been there at least a year. Also for travel perks, what do you have to do to obtain the free travel? These are just some random questions and have had no affect on my decision to take the job, I'm just wondering because I've never been through any of this before.....thanks!

Geeeeeeeeeez....why don't you two just make out already! Seriously though, maybe PM's might be more conducive to your conversation?

I said essentially. Compare a 737 and a DC-9 if you wish.

I'm a pretty junior FO out of Tyler on the COA route network. I've been out of IOE for 2 weeks and holding a nice line. Flying Fri, Sat, Sun with overnights on Friday and Saturday. Colgan is what you make of it.

hey that sounds great man, how did you get to Texas so soon I heard it was pretty senior down there....also, how is the living down there as compared to the Northeast?

Texas isn't senior...IAH is. Tyler is the only other saab base in TX, hence the overnights for us.

And SAAB, what is your obsession with overnights? Do you need them to complete the airline pilot feel?
